Our Process
North Shore Analytical utilizes EPA Method 1631E to measure low level mercury. Using the Tekran Series 2600 Cold -Vapor Atomic Fluorescence (CVAF) instrument system, a mercury detection limit down to 0.100 parts per trillion (ppt) is achieved. All mercury analyses are performed on site at North Shore Analytical in a dedicated cleanroom to ensure accurate results. Matrices we can analyze are surface water, ground water, wastewater, soil, sediment, paper, process chemicals, biological tissue and other miscellaneous solids.
